Tim's Tag for November.

I really did go up to the craftroom to attempt some order into it but I had a piece of chalk in my hand and so I got way-layed into making Tim's November tag found here - as you would! After all, the room will just get untidy again won't it? Ahem, back to the matter in hand!
Tim's tag sports the awesome chalk technique with his stamp and cut framelit leaf set. I haven't got one of these yet, but I do have the Christmas blueprint set and so I used the Christmas tree and cut it by hand.

I did three layers of the tree, the last one I cut up the center. I think it is very clever and had fun with this when I did Creative Chemistry 102. It looks so realistic, just like an old school balckboard that I remember from years back. I am making some Christmas cards at the moment incorporating this and hope to post later. As Tim said in his post the trick is to get the embossing powder to the right heat. After taking CC102 I invested in a Ranger heat gun as Tim explained how the gentler heat is more appropriate to a lot of techniques. I wish now I had got one earlier as he was spot on and my spritz and watermark cards are better with the Ranger gun. I have to say that everything The Man says and designs works so well, you know you never waste any money, and everything inter-relates. (Is that a word?) So thanks again Tim, you teach so well!
Have a good weekend everyone, thanks for looking. x
