Sunday Stamper week 279: Winter.

It's quite shocking when I see that I haven't managed to do one of Hels challenges for quite a few weeks. It starts on Sunday and it is Saturday night before I know it so I was determined to make a card for this weeks challenge which is Winter. My little stack of Christmas cards and tags is now growing nicely!

I matted black card onto white and die cut the branch from Tim's bird and branch across the top. then I stamped out this lovely wintery scene from PaperBag Studio's and coloured in the lamps with cosmic shimmer and golden yellow watercolour paint. Three of the snowflakes were embossed and two were wooden that I painted with Pearl dabber and used Clear Rock Candy Distress glitter over the top then fixed them onto pads for dimension. The words underneath are from Tim's seasonal rub-ons and I am so glad he has done them in white too. Simples card and it looks better than it has photograped, honest! Off now to try and make my card for Tag Tuesday and then I will be up to date. Have a good week one and all. x

  5. This is a very striking card, Barb. I never thought about using black for Christmas, but it works beautifully with the snowflakes and sentiment you chose. Blessings!
